A. SOFTWARE
It is used to define a group of instructions, information, or computer programs that give computers the ability to perform certain functions. It is considered the opposite of hardware, being the collection of actual parts that compose a computer. But in general, software cannot be touched physically but sometimes it can be represented in the form of code which is developed by programmers to instruct a computer or other electronic apparatus to perform some operation. Hardware means it must be something that is tangible and physically existed like keyboard, motherboard, etc.
It enhances technology, increases efficiency, and stimulates creativity across a myriad of industries that vary in nature; hence, very important to modern technology and life in general. It provides the basis for economic development, entertainment, and education, as well as the functionality of hardware, and gives assistance in communication, decision-making, and productivity. In other words, this is the software that will underpin the forthcoming connected society by providing support not only to data security and scientific research but also to their development.
B. ENGINEERING
Engineering resolves technical problems and optimizes systems in an integrated manner through the application of design, mathematics, and scientific principles. It encompasses the design, construction, and improvement of devices, systems, and procedures in pursuit of maximal performance, functions, and safety to realize very high quality lifestyles.
The importance of engineering lies in the ability to solve sticky problems and foster technological development, raising standards of living and boosting productivity. Indeed, engineering will ensure that designs and developments made work in enhancing economic growth, security, reliability, and sustainability on systems and buildings. Engineering is important in facility development, simplification of procedures, stimulation of creativity, and progress of society members in a bid to solve global problems.
C. SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
Software Engineering is that form of engineering in this domain that deals with the logical development, testing, and management of software applications. This process makes use of knowledge about principles in programming and knowledge of engineering in the development of applications that are efficient, reliable, safe, or many other uses pertaining to network systems relevant in games.
The importance of software engineering allows the achievement of high quality, reliable, and trusted software systems in line with the requirements of the user. This is achieved in play on security integration, detail management, and efficiency improvement since it applies best practices and structured processes to give a lead to a faster process and at a low cost. Software engineering makes it possible to build sound solutions that enhance speedy development of technology and productivity.
